"Smells Like Teen Spirits" served as an anthem for many of Generation X, who found themselves confused and uncertain about the world around them. Still, this song couldn’t be more relevant today. That's why we decided to cover and rearrange the most famous song by Nirvana. The nihilist vibe and the apathetic and cynical mood still have as big an impact on today's generation as 32 years ago. Social and mass media show us the World as a horror movie ready to explode: war, pollution, violence, economic crisis and climate change collide with loss of values, lack of prospects and emptiness by today’s youth culture. In an upside-down World with no social references, this song is still found today as the anthem for the New Generation. This is our tribute.
